Renowned New York photographer Anita Calero agreed to shoot the BOco range in Barcelona recently and company owners Leah and Rob Jones were thrilled to have the opportunity to work with her. A passionate dog lover herself, Anita is highly regarded for her skilled prop styling and shot the range with full creative freedom from the Jones’. “Anita has a beautiful eye for capturing products and we wanted to see the range shot in her style, with the feeling of a fashion or homewares shoot” says owner Leah Jones. With the eye of an artist as well as a dog lover, Anita was able to encapsulate BOco’s style aesthetic in the images, highlighting the unique textures and colours of the range, as well as showing off some gorgeous pooches in the process. Colombian Anita Calero has developed an impressive portfolio of clients over almost 3 decades of working in New York city. Her early career years were spent working as a prop stylist, where she developed her own unique style that she brings to campaigns for an impressive client list that includes De Vera, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Tommy Hilfiger, Uniqlo, Target and now BOco.
